The Third Masculine Declension

All together there are four declensions for each gender (masculine, femenine and neutral). Each noun falls under one of the gender categories and one of the four possible declensions.

Under the category for the third masculine noun declension fall the masculine nouns which have the ending "-ø" in all cases. This is how abbreviations, symbols and letters are inflected. But it should be noted that these nouns can also be inflected as the first masculine declension. This can be done by adding "-" to the end of the word with the correct case ending. -> (Slovensko narodno gledališče - SNG- Slovenian national theatre; or if inflected as the 1st masculine declension: SNG, SNG-ja, SNG-ju, ...)
