All together there are four declensions for each gender (masculine, femenine and neutral). Each noun falls under one of the gender categories and one of the four possible declensions.
Under the category for the first neutral declension fall the neutral nouns ending with "-a" in the second case (Rodilnik) -> (Mesto - A City).
