All together there are four declensions for each gender (masculine, femenine and neutral). Each noun falls under one of the gender categories and one of the four possible declensions.
Under the category for the third female noun declension fall the female nouns ending with "-ø" in the second case (Rodilnik). These tend to be female names and female pet names -> Karmen (A girl's name), Mami (Mom), Ines (A girl's name), Babi (Grandmother)
